Stewardship
We believe parents should make the importance of stewardship of resources, time, and talent a life lesson for their children. Check out these ideas to help teach your children ways to express stewardship of their time and talents.
PARENTS & CO.
Select Wednesday Evenings, 6:15-7:15 (September through May)
PARENTS & CO. is a support and resource group for parents (and grandparents and friends!) of preschool and elementary-aged children. Check out the 2009-2010 topics and meeting dates or stop by the church office and pick up a brochure about the group which includes this year's offerings.

In addition to the regular Sunday and Wednesday opportunities and special activities and events throughout the year, there are two further opportunities for children to develop and grow within River Road Church.
The Way of the Child
Sunday Evenings, 6:00 (September through May)
The Way of the Child: Helping Children Experience God, is a resource which focuses on spiritual formation in children. The Way of the Child recognizes that children have an innate spirituality, an acceptance of mystery, an amazing capacity for awe, a vital imagination, and an ability to be open to and receive God's love.
For children in elementary grades, The Way of the Child leads children into a deeper relationship with God, instills in children spiritual practices to form lifelong habits, encourages children to respond to God, and provides an experience of vital community.
PARENTS: Consider being a part of the adult Bible Study, which meets at the same time.
Discovery Class
A Discovery Class is offered periodically for older elementary-aged children who are interested in exploring what it means to be a Christian and a member of the church. This class meets for two sessions and is taught by the Minister to Children.
