The ministry of adult Christian education at River Road Church, Baptist is concerned with the holistic (both individual and congregational) experience, understanding, and expression of Christian faith as revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
This ministry seeks to provide for adults of all ages experiences steeped in a faithful, supportive community that will lead to an heightened awareness of God. It strives to offer learning opportunities through lectures, forums, retreats, and other offerings that will result in an informed understanding of God as revealed through biblical scholarship, theological study, and the world around us.
Finally, this ministry hopes to evoke expression, in both inward devotion and outward manifestation, of our experience and understanding of God. Ultimately, we see the adult Christian education ministries of River Road Church as a means toward the end of: Christian maturity, critical thought, spiritual growth, and sustained faith all within the bounds of our time-honored Baptist principle of the "priesthood of all believers."
