Missions
MissionKids—Preschoolers participate in age-appropriate missions activities. Through activities and stories they learn about missionaries and their work, as well as discover the importance of helping others. Children in grades 1-5 learn about missions and the work of missionaries around the world. Through age-appropriate activities, they discover the importance of being involved in missions themselves and in helping meet the needs of others. The children meet in two coed groups: Grades 1 and 2; Grades 3, 4, and 5. MissionKids meets during the regular Wednesday evening schedule from 6:45-7:30pm. Mission Emphasis Speakers—One Wednesday each month, the Board of Missions sponsors the Wednesday evening Pastor's Forum (6:30-7:30pm) with a missions emphasis program. Youth will hear from several different mission emphasis speakers at their Sunday night program: Current youth worship. Speakers in both venues will expose listeners to different ways that God is at work in the local community, nation, and world. Mission Opportunities ( Expand All | Contract All ) |
